Off the Beaten Track hike in Itoshima, Fukuoka.

Off the Beaten Track in Itoshima.

Are you ready to join our hike ?

How and Where?

Take the subway/train from Fukuoka
 and get off at  Imajuku Station.
Meet you at the 7/11 across the road.

The hike is:

a pleasant 2K walk through a small village, 

along rice fields & gardens.

 Then we follow a winding river 

untill ......

  ...the start of the hike.

To the top it is about an other 2K.
At a slow pace it takes about 45 minutes.

  Easy going does it.

Plenty of resting spots and great viewing.

 Then dependending , we can continue for another 2 hours along the ridge or make a U-turn.

This year, the weather at the peak of the Sakura Blossoming

was just plain perfect.

Lucky us.

Next flowers to look out for is: Fuji, aka Wisteria.
Peak: late April.

On the way back to the station, we spotted this mobile supermarket.
